Housing associations recognise the importance of affordable housing in rural areas – and the positive impact that it can have. That is why we have an ambition to increase current housing supply in rural areas by 6% per year over the next 5 years. Local landowners are vital to bringing forward land for housing in rural areas and we want to explore how housing associations and landowners can work together to deliver more.
This interactive conference will explore these issues and hear from experts in each field, politicians and landowners themselves. By working together, we will be able to overcome these barriers and increase the supply of rural affordable housing.
