Residents of Little Hallingbury met yesterday to find out more about the eagerly anticipated affordable homes which will be available to those in the local area.

The open meeting was hosted by Hastoe Housing Association, who displayed an initial layout for the 16 new affordable homes off Dell Lane, Little Hallingbury.

The open meeting allowed residents to hear more about the development and how they can apply to buy or rent one of the affordable homes.

Hastoe Development Manager for the East Ulrike Maccariello said:

We are delighted to be providing these 16 new affordable homes for the people of Little Hallingbury.

At Hastoe we are passionate about supporting our villages and rural areas through providing environmentally sustainable, affordable homes for local people. From the very beginning this development has been community-led: based on the housing need of the area and available only to those with a strong connection to the local community.

These homes will enable residents to remain in the village where they live, work or have family ties and will help ensure that Little Hallingbury and the surrounding areas can continue to flourish.
